In a step towards enhancing digital learning, the Goidhoo Council has donated Ten brand-new computers to Goidhoo School. The contribution is part of the council’s efforts to support both teachers and students in strengthening access to modern educational tools.

According to the council, the donation was fully funded through the revenue budget, ensuring that the initiative would not require external assistance. Council members highlighted that the move reflects their commitment to investing in education and equipping the island’s youth with resources to meet today’s learning needs.

The computers are expected to improve teaching efficiency, provide students with better access to digital resources, and enhance the overall learning environment at the school.

Speaking on behalf of the school, teachers expressed their gratitude for the timely support, noting that the computers will play a crucial role in bridging gaps in digital literacy and opening new opportunities for interactive learning.

The Goidhoo Council reaffirmed that education remains a priority, and similar initiatives will continue to be carried out in the future to ensure sustainable development in the community.
